Where Do You Find Peace?

Take a moment and ask yourself this simple question:

What brings you peace?

Salem Chapel

Maybe it's spending time with family or friends. Perhaps it's watching a sunset over the water, walking through nature, hearing birds sing, playing with a beloved pet, or simply stepping away from the busyness of life for a little while.

God has surrounded us with reminders of His beauty and His presence. From the changing seasons to the wonder of creation, we can catch glimpses of His peace in the world around us. These moments invite us to slow down, breathe deeply, and remember that we are never alone.

Yet even the most beautiful places cannot provide lasting peace.

Jesus told His disciples:

"Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives." (John 14:27)

The peace Christ offers isn't dependent on perfect circumstances. It remains with us in times of joy, uncertainty, celebration, and struggle. His peace steadies our hearts when life feels overwhelming and reminds us that He is always near.

As you look through the images shared with this week's reflection, consider where you've experienced God's peace in your own life. Then remember that the greatest source of peace isn't found in a place or a moment—it's found in a relationship with Jesus.

May you seek His peace this week and discover the direction, hope, and grace that only He can give.
